Our state-of-heart health care center gives nursing and athletic training majors the perfect place to develop their care-giving skills, too!
The Cooke Health and Wellness Center will help provide to you the best health care available - and it's right on campus. The Center is staffed by Family Nurse Practitioners (FNP's) who have advanced training in diagnosing and treating illness. You'll be feeling fit in no time!
Health Care Services Available:
Diagnose and treat illness, including prescribing medications, ordering tests and referrals to specialists
Annual physical exams and health risk assessments
Immunizations and Allergy Injections
Wellness programs, including weight management, blood pressure screening and health education
Provide medical advice by phone
Counseling referrals

Summer: Mon and Wed: 8:00 a.m. - 2:30 p.m. Tues and Thursday: 8:00 a.m. - 3:30 p.m.
Our goal is to provide you a clean, safe, and well-equipped fitness facility so you can more easily reach your goal of staying fit. The fitness center is located in the Student Union and is free to all GCU students. It's also walking distance from the dorms and apartments. The center offers cardio and strength equipment, as well as free weights. You'll feel more at home in the open, energetic room and TV's will help you take the "work" out of your workout and make it easier (and more fun) for you to pursue your fitness goals. In addition to the well-equipped exercise facility, there are also tennis courts and open hours on our two indoor basketball courts.
